Care Guide / Care Specialist (Entry-Level)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support members with scheduling appointments for preventative care, specialist visits, and testing.
• Assist members in understanding their coverage and benefits , explaining complex policy details clearly and simply.
• Actively help members in connecting with appropriate care providers and facilities within their network.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for routine member inquiries, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills.
• Utilize internal systems to accurately document member interactions and coordinate next steps with clinical or billing teams.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere strictly to all privacy regulations, including HIPAA.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong people skills including excellent communication (written and verbal), active listening, and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and technology.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
• Must be reliable and committed to customer service excellence.
• Prior healthcare experience is NOT required —we provide full training!
